LOVE’S LABOR SLAUGHTERED

This is a multipart installation exhibited at the Art Today ’93 group show, Saison Museum of Modern Art, Karuizawa, Sept.-Nov. 1993. A steel clamp frame held small brick walls and a 12-sided wood and plexiglass frame, making one rotation every seven minutes. A projection system displayed a seven-minute video and audio montage inside the viewing frame. Wooden crates for shipping an enslaved family stand nearby.
